BESTKEPTMONTREAL: COSMOPOLITAN FASHION WEEK RETURNS TO IGNITE AUTUMN 2021

Updated: Nov 9, 2021

Discerning eyes from across the globe will be on Montréal this fall during the third edition of Cosmopolitan Fashion Week. From October 21 to 23, fashionistas will be able to partake in three days of colorful activities at the Espace Danse of the Wilder Building in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles.

An initiative of AMA Design by Yves de Lima — whose first edition we previewedin 2018 — Cosmopolitan Fashion Week is a reflection of Montreal interculturalism and stands out for its eclectic programming aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry.

CFW will feature more than a dozen local and international designers, such as Daniel Garriga from Guadeloupe, Rhowan James from Toronto, Simona Spanfrom Romania, Helmer Joseph from Montréal and many others.

Several activities will be part of this edition of Cosmopolitan Fashion Week such as the returning International Black Expo Design, which promotes Afro-contemporary design in its various forms and disciplines, including interior, industrial, textile, graphic, digital and event design….

…and Fashion So Art, an event that explores the symbiotic relationship between fashion designs and the visual arts.

This year, CFW adds a new string to its bow by creating Panamericana Runway, a fashion show dedicated to Hispanic contemporary design, without forgetting the main evening event — the Fashion Show World gala — on Saturday, October 23, showcasing different cultures of the world through a fashion spectacle.
